Does Anybody Care?
Bobby Goldsboro

Does anybody care
'bout all the lonely people everywhere?
All those people that you see
Aren't they just like you and me?
And isn't everyone supposed to share?

Does anybody see
And if they do how can they let it be?
When so many people cry
How can folks just pass them by?
And why must helping people be so rare
Does anybody care?

Well I see little children with no place to sleep
Sadness on their faces
And no shoes upon their feet
And mamas like my mother
Who don't have enough to eat
It isn't fair
Does anybody care?

Does anybody hear?
Then why won't someone try to dry the tears?
If we lend a helping hand
And try to understand
Then maybe all the world could learn to share
And I won't have to ask
Does anybody care?

Does anybody hear?
Then why won't someone try to dry the tears
If we lend a helping hand
And try to understand
Then maybe all the world would learn to share
And I won't have to ask
Does anybody care?
