BANANARAMA have dominated the music scene both in the UK and abroad since they first stormed into the charts in 1982. They made a huge impact in the 80's and had a string of hits, releasing 29 top selling singles, 10 chart topping albums plus a triple platinum 'Greatest Hits' album. They are the most successful British girl-group in pop history and unlike most girl-groups, co-wrote all of their own material (excluding covers).

The public loved Bananarama's music and the natural persona of the group, which led to a string of international hits. Bananarama worked with Fun Boy Three in 1982 on, 'REALLY SAYIN SOMETHIN' which raced to number 2 in the charts. Both of these tracks were released on Bananarama's debut album, 'Deep Sea Skiving', in 1983 which reached number 7 in the UK album charts. Other hit singles from the album included 'SHY BOY', 'CHEERS THEN', and 'NA NA HEY HEY'. This success was followed by the classic hit 'ROBERT DENIRO'S WAITING',

By 1987 Bananarama wanted to work with some new sounds and recruited the skills of the highly successful trio, Stock, Aitken and Waterman. The group recorded a cover of Shocking Blue's 'VENUS' which shot to number one in the American charts and became their biggest hit, topping the charts throughout the world. Bananarama's talents were recognised the world over and to celebrate they released their forth album, 'WOW' to both public and critical acclaim. The album featured the classic singles, 'I WANT YOU BACK', 'I HEARD A RUMOUR', 'LOVE IN THE FIRST DEGREE', & 'I CAN'T HELP IT'.

The following year Siobhan Fahey left the group to pursue other musical interests and long time friend Jacquie O'Sullivan joined Bananarama. Siobhan's departure coincided with the release of the group's fifth and triple platinum album, 'THE GREATEST HITS COLLECTION' which topped the charts around the world. The group was also entered into the Guinness Book of Records as the Most Successful British Girl Group Ever – an achievement which has not been beaten to this day.

Meet JUNIOR SENIOR, an unmistakable duo from the Jutland countryside of Northern Denmark, currently preparing for a full-scale invasion of your personal headspace. Together the pair have formed a unique bonding and shaped a sound that looks set to send frenzied shockwaves to dancefloors worldwide, simultaneously staking Denmark on the European pop map.

First there's Junior; sensitive blue eyed soul boy, songwriting champ, vinyl hoarder, and guitar demon par excellence. Then there's Senior, the larger than life, slightly older, effortlessly charismatic front man, permanently clad in sun-visor with intent. Okay, so it might not take rocket science to work out the motivation behind their 'nom de plume', but it does act as a suitably apt metaphor for their partnership. And besides 'Little and Large' doesn't have quite the same 'je n'est ce quoi'.

'D-D-Don't Don't Stop The Beat' is an album of many surprises. Simply un-wrap its neon packaging and inside you'll find an evangelical pop soul punk record of the finest order, layered with infectious melodies, strident blazing guitar licks and beautiful empowering harmonies that will only help to restore your faith in the power of rock'n'roll. Its components comprise of ten modern tales of Scandinavian joy, that thankfully lie a million more times Motown than O-Town. That's right, Junior Senior are a unique force, because 1) They actually love music, old music too, and 2) they can knowingly interpret, reinvent and contextualise these influences, mix them up, shake and stir them into one potent contemporary brew of sonic exultation 2002 style….

In their debut single 'MOVE YOUR FEET', Junior Senior have a song so painlessly addictive, that soon it should be available on prescription to soothe all worldly woes. Featuring the additional vocal dynamics of Thomas Troelsen, singer with label mates Superheroes, its "Everybody, move your feet and feel united," refrain will stick around amidst your grey matter for years to come. How do you follow such a massive hit like "MOVE YOUR FEET"? The equally infectious new single "Rhythm Bandits"
